Recently, the soil pest control innovation team of the Institute of Plant Protection of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences cooperated with the Netherlands Institute of Ecology and found that continuous cropping can lead to the decline of the disease inhibitory function of the colonizing bacteria around the pathogenic hyphae, providing a cause for the aggravation of cucumber wilt under continuous cropping conditions.
