Recently, the team of Associate Researcher Zuo Jinhua from the Vegetable Center of the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences (National Vegetable Engineering Technology Research Center) and Professor Donald Grierson (academician of the Royal Academy of Sciences and foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering) from the University of Nottingham, UK, jointly published the Horticulture in the Top Journal of Agriculture and Forestry Science Q1 research (IF:5.404) published a research paper online, which revealed the chayote genome composition and evolutionary relationship and the molecular regulation mechanism of fruit growth and development, filling the gap in the research field of chayote in the genome, transcriptome and metabolome.
