Research and expand the high-value utilization of seaweed resources

Recently, the Innovative Team for the Protection and Utilization of Tidal Flat Biological Resources of the Tobacco Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences has explored the hypoglycemic effect of brown algae polyphenols on type 2 diabetic mice, as well as the green preparation technology of seaweed-derived microbial liquid fertilizer based on the conversion of seaweed waste application. The above research has important guiding significance for realizing the comprehensive utilization of seaweed resources in the whole industry chain and increasing the added value of its products. Related research results are published online in journals such as”Waste Management”.
