On October 12, Zhu Huanhu research group of School of life, Shanghai University of science and technology published a paper in the journal developmental cell. Using the animal model of Caenorhabditis elegans, this study found that the monomethyl branched chain fatty acids rich in beef and dairy products can be used as a key food nutritional signal to regulate sphingolipid and mTOR pathway, so as to affect the animal’s judgment of the content of total amino acids in food and determine its development fate.
