Professor Anne osbourn spoke highly of the role of aliphatic and aromatic phenolic amine metabolic gene clusters in rice disease resistance in this study. She believed that the identification and research of phenolic amine gene clusters in rice was a major breakthrough in the study of metabolic diversity of food crops, and provided a new idea for the study of disease resistance mediated by secondary metabolites.
