Shanghai Ocean University has made important progress in ocean acidification related research

Supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Pujiang Talents Program (18PJ1404000), and Shanghai Natural Science Foundation of China, recently, Wang Youji’s research group from the School of Fisheries and Life Sciences, Shanghai Ocean University has made a series of important progress in ocean acidification related research. Related results have been published in mainstream journals in the fields of environmental science and oceanography such as Science of the Total Environment, Chemosphere, Journal of Oceanology and Limnology, Helgoland Marine Research.

Optimizing Nitrogen Fertilizer Management and Increasing the Efficiency of Organic Fertilizer Controlling Red Soil Acidification

Recently, researchers from the Red Soil Acidification Mechanism and Control Technology Research Group at Qiyang Station of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences have achieved red soil acidification control by regulating the application ratio of chemical nitrogen fertilizer and organic fertilizer, while reducing the accumulation of phosphorus and heavy metals in red soil. The acidification technology is of great significance. Related research results were published online in”Science of The Total Environment” and”Journal of Soils and Sediments”.
