Brazil’s cereal production in the 2021/22 season is expected to increase by 14%

On August 26, Brazil’s “Economic Value” reported that according to the data released by the National Supply Company (Conab) on the same day, the total grain production in Brazil is expected to reach a record 289.6 million tons in the 2020/21 season. The quarterly increase was 14%. The agency estimates that grain production is 269.6 million tons in the worst case and 301.8 million tons in the best case.

The Russian Ministry of Economic Development draws up a wheat export quota plan for the first half of 2021

Interfax News Agency reported on December 14 that the Russian Ministry of Economic Development submitted to the government a draft resolution on the implementation of wheat export quotas from February 15 to June 30, 2021. According to the draft, the total export quota for wheat during the above-mentioned period is 17.5 million tons, the tariff within the quota is 25 euros/ton, and the additional tariff rate is 50%and not less than 100 euros/ton.
