Recently, the national key research and development program”research and development of automatic seedling clipping and mechanized harvesting equipment for kelp raft culture” (2019yfd0900804), led by the raft culture mechanization technology innovation team of the Institute of fishery machinery of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, carried out on-site acceptance of kelp culture raft facilities and kelp raft culture mechanized harvesting equipment suitable for mechanized harvesting in Rongcheng, Shandong Province. The on-site acceptance adopts the form of combining online and offline. The expert group listened to the report of the person in charge of the subject and inspected the offshore recovery test site.
The subject has developed a set of rapid separation device of seedling rope and pipe rope, and constructed a new raft with”bow” shaped long seedling rope in series suitable for mechanized harvesting. We have developed kelp harvesting equipment based on the parallel connection of double pipe seedling ropes and long seedling ropes in series raft, and built a new mode of kelp seedling ropes in series raft and mechanized continuous cutting harvesting. This mode can realize the continuous cutting and harvesting of kelp long seedling rope. The output of the complete set of equipment is 12~15t/h, only 4 operators are needed, and the per capita harvesting output is 3~3.75 T/h/person. A single set of mechanized harvesting equipment is 1.5 times the harvesting output of the manual team (16 people), which can save 75%labor. The per capita harvesting efficiency is 6~7 times that of the traditional, and the light simplification efficiency is increased by more than 30%. The research effectively solved the problems that the harvesting ship must harvest kelp along the curved raft pipe rope, the difficulty of ship navigation and control, and the inability to achieve continuous harvesting in the raft, greatly reduced the labor intensity, and obtained five invention patents.
