As the parent of hybrid Channa Argus, its germplasm directly determines the quality of commercial seedlings of hybrid Channa Argus, and has a great impact on the seed industry of Channa Argus.”Parent fish and seedlings of Channa Argus” was formulated by the innovation team of Channa Argus genetic breeding and healthy breeding of Zhujiang Institute on the basis of data accumulated in the long-term work of Channa Argus germplasm creation and genetic breeding with the support of projects such as the national characteristic freshwater fish industry technology system. The standard stipulates the source and quality requirements of parent fish and seedlings of Channa Argus, and describes the inspection methods, inspection rules and transportation methods, which can regulate the trade of parents and seedlings, and provide support for seedling breeding and germplasm resources protection.
