On July 9, the”Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County tea industry whole industry chain development plan (2021-2025)” (hereinafter referred to as”the plan”) prepared by the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences passed the expert review. More than 30 people attended the meeting, including Li Guanghui, director of the Standing Committee of the people’s Congress of Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Yang Zhibing, deputy county head, heads of local towns and relevant departments, and leading experts from the quality inspection center, certification center and other relevant departments of the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
At the review meeting, experts from the planning team reported the planning contents in detail, and put forward the overall ideas and development goals for the development of Beichuan tea industry. After listening to the report, the local government and review experts fully affirmed the planning content.
The review expert group believes that the planning objectives are clear, the basis is sufficient, the content is comprehensive, and the focus is prominent; The data is full and accurate, the route is reasonable, the charts are complete, and the text is standardized; It is scientific and forward-looking, which is of great significance to accelerate the construction and coordinated development of Beichuan modern tea industry system and promote the high-quality development of Beichuan tea industry. It is unanimously agreed that the plan passes the review.
Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County has a long history of tea planting, with 84500 mu of tea gardens in the county. Tea industry is not only a leading industry with Beichuan characteristics, but also a pillar industry for the revitalization of rural areas in the county. According to the plan, during the”14th five year plan” period, Beichuan county will take”one heart, two grades and three belts” as the overall spatial layout, take scientific and technological innovation as the guide, vigorously carry out the protection and utilization of tea germplasm resources and the construction of ecological tea gardens, improve the quality of tea processing, create public brands, promote the integrated development of tea tourism, culture and health, and strive to build a”Chinese Qiang Tea Center”.
