The Argentine Ministry of Agriculture plans to charge agricultural producers for using soybean and wheat seeds

Argentina’s horn reported on July 19 that the Minister of agriculture Dominguez met with representatives of Argentine seed producers on the afternoon of July 19, hoping to promote the collection of relevant fees for the use of soybean and wheat seeds by agricultural producers. According to the data released by the seed industry in Afghanistan, only about 35%of soybean seeds and 40%of wheat seeds in Afghanistan are legal, while the seed legal rates of Brazil, the United States and Uruguay are 70%, 95%and 100%respectively. The president of inase pointed out that the use of illegal soybean and wheat seeds has made Argentina lose its advantage in crop yield. Minister Dominguez called for the formulation of a new seed law to recover the loss of output in agricultural production competition with surrounding countries.
