Recently, the science and technology development center of the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas organized experts to make a third-party evaluation on the scientific and technological achievements of”rapid and accurate identification of antibiotic residues in protein feed raw materials” jointly completed by our institute and China Agricultural University. The evaluation expert group is composed of seven experts in the fields of feed, agricultural products and food safety risk monitoring and assessment and animal nutrition, including researcher Yang Dajin of the national food safety risk assessment center and Professor Wang Junjun of the school of animal science and technology of China Agricultural University. The evaluation meeting was presided over by Rao Zhihong, director of the science and technology development center of the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas.
Huang Qingsheng, director of the feed and forage Department of the animal husbandry and Veterinary Bureau of the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas, attended the evaluation meeting and delivered a speech. Jin Fen, deputy director of the Institute, researcher fan Xia, Professor Yang zengling of China Agricultural University and major members of the project attended the evaluation meeting.
As the first person to complete the achievement, researcher fanxia made a detailed report to the experts on behalf of the project team from the aspects of achievement background, technical ideas, promotion and application, economic and social benefits, etc. The participating experts listened carefully to the report and reviewed the relevant evaluation documents. After questioning and discussion, they agreed that this achievement focused on the technical problems and actual technical needs of the pre identification of antibiotic residues in protein feed raw materials. For the first time, a rapid screening technology based on spectral specificity of near/medium infrared micro imaging and the characterization of volatile markers, as well as a precise identification technology of liquid chromatography high-resolution mass spectrometry were established, It has effectively solved the technical problems of difficult characterization of antibiotic residues and the existence of qualitative blind areas in law enforcement, filled the gap in early warning and monitoring technology, reached the international advanced level, and has broad application prospects and practical application value.
This achievement obtained 8 patents (including 5 invention patents), 2 software copyrights, and published 5 academic papers (including 4 SCI articles). Relevant technologies have been applied in the national feed quality and safety early warning work, and have been popularized and applied in the feed quality and safety early warning and monitoring work organized by Shanghai, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei and other provinces and cities, providing important technical support for China’s feed quality and safety supervision.
