New Zealand released the 2022/23 agricultural residue sampling survey plan

On July 14, 2022, the Ministry of primary industry (MPI) of New Zealand released the New Zealand food safety technical document (No.:2022/10), that is, the 2022/23 agricultural residue sampling survey plan project. The main contents include:(1) the scope of application of sampling inspection. It is applicable to the detection of pesticide residues in plant products; (2) Determine the planned starting time and test products. The sampling and testing time is from July 2022 to June 2023. The sampling samples include 60 bulb vegetable samples, 60 leaf vegetable samples, 60 Brassica vegetable samples, 30 stem vegetable samples, 60 fruit vegetable samples and 30 flavor samples; The proportion of imported products or minimally processed products in the above sampling samples shall not be less than 50%; (3) Determine the types of pesticide residues sampled for testing, including 529 substances such as pyranone; (4) Determine the sample collection method, laboratory requirements, test value standards and the subsequent disposal process of unqualified samples.
