China, the United States, Canada, the European Union, Mercosur, Israel and Japan are the main meat markets of Ukraine. In the first half of this year, Uzbekistan’s meat exports to China reached US $1.061 billion, accounting for 59%of the total meat exports, with a year-on-year increase of 61.4%. Exports to the United States and Canada totaled $235 million, accounting for 13%, with a year-on-year increase of 27.2%. Exports to the EU amounted to 213 million US dollars, accounting for 12%, an increase of 35.5%. Exports to Mercosur amounted to 89 million US dollars, accounting for 5%, an increase of 65.3%. Exports to Israel amounted to 37million US dollars, accounting for 2%, down 11.2%. US $34million was sent to Japan, accounting for 2%, an increase of 118.5%.
 
Beef accounted for 83%of the total meat exports, reaching US $1.496 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 54.3%. The export volume was 292000 tons, with an average price of US $5248 per ton. China has the largest market share (67%) and continues to grow, followed by the United States and Canada (15%) and the European Union (3.1%).
