According to statistics, these foods are from Afghanistan, Egypt, Australia, Pakistan, Brazil, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Russia, Ecuador, France, South Korea, Canada, the United States, Myanmar, Japan, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, New Zealand, Italy, India, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Chile, Macao, Taiwan, China There are 29 countries or regions in Hong Kong, China. Among them, the quantity of unqualified food from Vietnam is the largest, with 82 batches. Secondly, 50 batches from the UK and 41 batches from Taiwan, China.

According to the statistics, the main reasons for these foods not allowed to enter the country are that they are not allowed to enter the country through inspection and quarantine, unqualified labels, inconsistent goods certificates, problems in the use of food additives, excessive volatile base nitrogen, detection of animal epidemics, failure to provide certificates or certification materials as required, independent recall, and containing ingredients of animal origin that have not been allowed through inspection and quarantine. In addition, some foods have been detected with peroxide value exceeding the standard, lead exceeding the standard, pollution and corruption, methylmercury exceeding the standard, quality and packaging unqualified, beyond the shelf life, ractopamine, vitamin a content not meeting the requirements of national standards, unqualified certificates, and the use of nutritional fortifiers. Among them, failure to obtain inspection and quarantine access, unqualified labels, and the use of food additives ranked among the top three, accounting for 69%of the total number of unqualified products.

The ports of entry of unauthorized food involve Beijing, Dalian, Fuzhou, Gongbei, Guangzhou, Huangpu, Jiangmen, Nanning, Ningbo, Qingdao, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Zhanjiang and Chongqing. Among them, Beijing port has the largest number of unapproved food, with 84 batches.
