Iceland’s export of fishery products increased by 7.4%year-on-year in 2021

According to the Icelandic Bureau of statistics on July 15, the export volume of Icelandic fishery products in 2021 was 296billion Icelandic kroner (about US $2.28 billion), an increase of 7.4%year-on-year. Among them, the export value of frozen products is 142billion Icelandic kroner (about 1.09 billion US dollars), and the export value of fresh/refrigerated products is 87billion Icelandic kroner (about 670 million US dollars). Most of the exports came from Britain, with 45billion Icelandic kroner (about 350million US dollars) and from France, with 42billion Icelandic kroner (about 320million US dollars).
