EU resumes Thai balsam pear exports

According to the report of Thailand China Daily on July 13, the Thai Department of agricultural technology said that the European Union has resumed the import license for Thai bitter gourd. After adjusting the list of high-risk imported agricultural products in 2019, the EU implemented measures to suspend imports. It is expected that the first batch of exports will be in September this year. Thailand exported balsam pear and other agricultural products to the EU from 2017 to 2019, with a total volume of about 23700 kg and a value of 1.092 million baht.
