On July 13, 2022, the Australian Department of agriculture, fisheries and forestry issued a notice to revise the import inspection requirements of sunflower kernel for human consumption, aiming to improve the customs clearance process of the food. The specific contents are as follows:the requirement of unpacking under the supervision of the official biosafety supervision officer is cancelled, and some specific inspection items of destination inspection are also cancelled. This import requirement will take effect from July 14th, 2022.
