Foreign media news on July 29:According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, from January 1 to July 25, 2021, the output value of Russian agricultural exports reached 16.379 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 16%over the same period last year.
During the same period, Russia’s grain exports increased by 15.1%to US$4.579 billion. The export of fats and oils increased by 38.4%, reaching US$3.753 billion. Exports of food and processed products increased by 5%to US$2.186 billion. Exports of meat and dairy products increased by 25.1%to US$748 million.
The European Union is the main importer of Russian agricultural products, and the value of imports increased by 31.6%to US$2.035 billion. Russia’s exports to China fell by 5.5%to US$2.01 billion. Exports to Turkey increased by 14.1%, reaching US$1.914 billion. The top ten importers of Russian agricultural products include South Korea, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Norway.
In 2020, the export value of Russian agricultural products will reach 30.658 billion U.S. dollars.
