African swine fever outbreak in Saratov region, Russia

  Food Partner Network News According to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), on June 21, 2021, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported to OIE that an outbreak of African swine fever had occurred in Russia.

  The place of occurrence of this epidemic is Volsk District, Saratov Region. It was confirmed on April 30, 2021. The source of the epidemic is unknown or uncertain. Laboratory tests revealed that 7 wild boars became ill and died.
   This epidemic has ended, and the Russian Ministry of Agriculture will no longer submit any reports.
