Some areas in central and northern Hunan and northwestern Jiangxi may have mild cold weather in spring, and technical measures for disaster prevention and mitigation need to be implemented as soon as possible. According to the analysis of experts from the China Vegetable Association, due to the relatively high vegetable land prices since last summer and autumn, vegetable farmers’ enthusiasm for production has been significantly increased. From October last year to February this year, vegetable planting area increased by about 1%year-on-year. It is expected that the total supply of vegetables in April will be sufficient.
