   Three batches of food were found to exceed the standard of food additives. They were rice cakes produced by Hongwang Rice Cake Processing Factory, Yancang Hongwang, Dinghai District, Zhoushan City.   Carmine is a synthetic edible coloring agent.   Enrofloxacin belongs to the fluoroquinolones, a class of synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial drugs, used to treat animal skin infections, respiratory tract infections, etc., and is an animal exclusive drug. GB 31650-2019″National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limits of Veterinary Drugs in Foods” stipulates that the maximum residue limit of enrofloxacin in bullfrogs is 100μg/kg. Long-term consumption of food with excess enrofloxacin residues will have a certain impact on human health.
   Nitrofurazone is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial drug that can treat livestock diseases. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Announcement No. 250″List of Drugs and Other Compounds Prohibited in Food Animals” stipulates that nitrofurazone is prohibited in food animals. The residues of nitrofurazone and its metabolites in animal-derived foods can be passed to humans through the food chain. Long-term ingestion can cause various diseases and have side effects such as carcinogenesis and teratogenicity on humans.
   In addition to the above-mentioned unqualified products, there is also a batch of foods that have failed to meet the standards. They are cured meats (sausages) sold at Liu Juxian’s non-staple food store in Bihu Farmers Market, Lishui City.   Peroxide value mainly reflects whether the product fat is oxidized and deteriorated. As the oil oxidizes, the peroxide value will gradually increase. Although it will not harm human health in general, it will cause gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea and other symptoms in severe cases. The reason for the excess peroxide value may be that the oil has deteriorated, or the environmental conditions of the product are improperly controlled during storage, which leads to the rancidity of the oil; it may also be that the fat in the raw material has been oxidized, the raw material has been stored improperly, and effective anti-oxidation measures have not been taken. The end product oil is oxidized.
   The Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has instructed the relevant municipal market supervision departments to investigate and deal with the substandard products found in random inspections.
