On April 12, the South China Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences held a signing ceremony and a technical seminar on the collaborative innovation research of South China Sea large yellow croaker and Hong Kong oyster germplasm resources. Gao Qingying, deputy director of Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Changjiang Shigui from Nanhai Institute attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Deputy director Li Chunhou presided over the meeting. Assistant director Zhang Dianchang and head of scientific research department, fishery ward and related experts, Huizhou Agriculture and Rural Bureau The third-level investigator Luo Fuqiu, the director of Huizhou Fishery Research and Promotion Center Gao Wenfeng, and the general manager Yan Kuoqiu of Guangdong Selina Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Deputy Director Li Chunhou, on behalf of the South China Sea Institute, signed a collaborative innovation research cooperation agreement with Gao Wenfeng, Director of Huizhou Fishery Research and Promotion Center, and Yan Kuoqiu, General Manager of Guangdong Whale Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, the three parties will actively implement the relevant work deployment requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, focus on modern seed industry innovation, and comprehensively carry out collaborative innovation research on South China Sea large yellow croaker and Hong Kong oyster germplasm resources to help the seed industry”turn over””Strategy” to help promote the high-quality development of East Fisheries.
Director Jiang Shigui thanked the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for its continuous support and guidance for the innovative development of the South China Sea Institute, and said that the cooperation in the collaborative innovation of South China Sea large yellow croaker and Hong Kong oyster germplasm resources is an active implementation of the For the specific actions of “turning over” in the industry, the South China Sea Institute will formulate implementation plans and roadmaps focusing on “what to do, how to do”, comprehensively strengthen scientific research and innovation cooperation in the aquatic seed industry, and strive to build a germplasm resource bank and breed new varieties. Substantial breakthroughs have been made in the field.
Gao Qingying, deputy director of the contract, pointed out that this signing of cooperation is a measure to implement the provincial party committee and the provincial government’s”turn over” in the seed industry. It is a beneficial exploration of the joint efforts of industry, academia and research to promote the integration of modern fishery breeding and promotion. It is bound to leave a strong mark in the reform process of the scientific research and promotion system of the aquatic seed industry in the province; he requested that all scientific research units should be based on the reality of the rich fishery germplasm resources in Guangdong Province, and aim at the current supply and quality of seedlings. Highlight problems, strengthen cooperation, and work together to carry out resource surveys in a comprehensive and systematic manner, explore and utilize local germplasm resources, cultivate new species suitable for deep-sea aquaculture, develop large-scale high-quality marine fish green feed, and create genetics of totocysts Breeding centers and other aspects strengthen collaborative innovation research.
Luo Fuqiu, Gao Wenfeng, Yan Kuoqiu, etc. successively introduced relevant work at the meeting, and hoped to comprehensively strengthen cooperation with the South China Sea Institute to jointly solve outstanding problems that restrict industrial development. Researcher Zhang Dianchang and Researcher Jiang Jingzhe respectively made reports entitled”Protection and Innovative Utilization of Germplasm Resources of Large Yellow Croaker in Naozhou Ethnic Group” and”Research Progress and Work Plan of Hong Kong Oyster Germplasm Resources”, which aroused the participation of leaders and experts on aquatic species. In-depth exchanges on industry innovation, large yellow croaker and oyster resources and research, and cooperation priorities.
