The latest statistics on US soybean exports to China:total sales to China increased 1.84 times year-on-year

  News from Washington, April 8:The weekly export sales report of the US Department of Agriculture shows that the total soybean export sales of the United States to China (Mainland) increased 1.84 times year-on-year, and 1.89 times year-on-year in the previous week.

  As of April 1, 2020, the soybean export shipments from the United States to China (Mainland China) for 2020/21 (starting on September 1) are 34.89 million tons, which is higher than 12.14 million tons in the same period last year.
   The United States shipped 14,300 tons of soybeans to China that week, and 79,000 tons of soybeans to China the previous week.
   So far, the number of 2020/21 soybeans sold by the United States to China but not shipped is 938,000 tons, which is lower than the 1.168 million tons a week ago and 473,000 tons in the same period last year.
   So far in 2020/21, the total sales of soybeans from the United States to China (sales that have been shipped and not yet shipped) are 35.83 million tons, an increase of 184.0%year-on-year. Last week it was an increase of 189.0%year-on-year. Two weeks ago An increase of 191.1%year-on-year.
   In the past week, China bought 264,000 tons of new beans for the year of 2021/22, and the total amount of new beans purchased was 2.6 million tons.
   The US Department of Agriculture’s March 2021 supply and demand report predicts that China’s soybean imports for 2020/21 (October to September of the following year) are expected to be 100 million tons, which is the same as the February forecast. China’s soybean imports in 2019/20 are expected to be 98.53 million tons, an increase of 19.4%over 2018/19.
