4 batches of samples detected food additives problems
Among the unqualified samples, 4 batches of samples were found to have problems with food additives, namely:1 batch of fine powder sold by Shuanglong Aquatic Seasoning Wholesale Department in Fugu County, and 1 batch sold by Yangdi Small Aquatic Products Store in Fugu County The first batch of fried dough sticks (homemade food) sold at the Tiantianzao snack shop in Yintai Street, Yintai District, Tongchuan City, and the first batch of fried dough sticks (homemade food) sold at Yangming Barbecue Restaurant in Xi’an Economic and Technological Development Zone were all detected with aluminum. The residual amount (dry sample, calculated as Al) does not meet the requirements of national food safety standards.
Potassium aluminum sulfate (also known as potassium alum) and aluminum ammonium sulfate (also known as ammonium alum) are commonly used leavening agents and stabilizers in food processing, and aluminum residues are produced after use. Aluminum is not an essential trace element for the human body. It does not participate in normal physiological metabolism. It is accumulative. Excessive intake will affect the body’s absorption of iron, calcium and other components, leading to osteoporosis, anemia, and even affecting the development of nerve cells. The”Announcement of the National Health and Family Planning Commission on Approving β-Galactosidase as New Varieties of Food Additives, etc.” (2015 No. 1) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of aluminum in vermicelli and vermicelli (dry samples) is 200mg/kg. The”National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Use Standard” (GB 2760-2014) stipulates that the aluminum residue in fried dough sticks shall not exceed 100mg/kg.

Procymidone is a low-toxic systemic fungicide with dual functions of protection and treatment. It is mainly used for the prevention and control of gray mold in vegetables and fruit trees. The”National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limit of Pesticides in Food” (GB2763-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of procymidone in chives is 0.2mg/kg. Procymidone is irritating to eyes and skin, and has low oral toxicity.
Chlorpyrifos is a moderately toxic, high-efficiency and broad-spectrum organophosphorus insecticide, mainly used in agricultural products such as grains, fruits and vegetables. The”National Food Safety Standard Maximum Limits of Pesticide Residues in Foods” (GB 2763-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of chlorpyrifos in green vegetables is 0.1 mg/kg. Excessive levels of chlorpyrifos in agricultural products will pose a certain threat to human health. A small amount of pesticide residues will not cause acute human poisoning, but long-term consumption of food with excess pesticide residues will have a certain impact on human health.
4 batches of samples detected microbial contamination problems
Among the unqualified samples, 4 batches of samples were found to have microbial contamination. Among them, the nominal Shaanxi Tianxiang Food Co., Ltd. commissioned by Shaanxi Hari Food Technology Co., Ltd., sold by Haoyouduo Chain Supermarket in Shoushan Town, Meixian County, produced 1 batch of Tianxiangfang Hanging Stove Crust (barbecue flavor), Meixian Zhongxin Life Supermarket Co. The total number of bacterial colonies is an indicative microbial index, which is mainly used to evaluate the cleanliness of food and reflect whether the food meets the hygienic requirements during the production process. The total number of bacterial colonies in the food exceeds the standard, which will destroy the nutritional content of the food and accelerate the spoilage of the food.
There are also 2 batches of samples detected that Pseudomonas aeruginosa does not meet the national food safety standards. They are:the development of the nominal Robust (Guangdong) bottled water sold by Yang Lingqichen Bottled Water Distribution Service Department Co., Ltd. commissioned Xi’an Qin Miao Yuanquan Beverage Co., Ltd. to produce 1 batch of Robust brand Robust drinking pure drinking water; nominally 1 batch of Juyuansheng brand Weihuaquan drinking pure water produced by Weinan Juyuansheng Beverage Co., Ltd. water.
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a conditional pathogen, widely distributed in water, air, normal human skin, respiratory tract and intestines, etc. It is easy to survive in humid environments, and has strong resistance to disinfectants, ultraviolet rays, etc. The resistance is a health risk for people with weaker resistance.”National Food Safety Standard Packaged Drinking Water” (GB 19298-2014) stipulates that the standard value of Pseudomonas aeruginosa is n=5, c=0, m=0, and the unit is CFU/250mL. The cause of excessive Pseudomonas aeruginosa in barreled drinking water may be improper protection of the source water and pollution of the water body; inadequate supervision of environmental sanitation by some enterprises, insufficient standard operation, and cross-contamination in the production process; long storage time in the circulation link. The repeated use of buckets increases the risk of secondary pollution.
In addition to the above-mentioned products, there are 2 batches of unqualified samples:nominally 1 batch of Jinshi brand pure drinking water produced by Shaanxi Narcissus Beverage Co., Ltd. Detected conductivity [(25±1)℃] , Pseudomonas aeruginosa does not meet the national food safety standards and product standards; a batch of Alma 16 blueberry wine sold by Shiquan County Jiayou Trading Co., Ltd. and produced by Henan Minfeng Wine Co., Ltd. was detected. The alcohol content (20°C) does not meet the requirements of the stated value on the product label.
For the unqualified products found in the random inspection, the Shaanxi Provincial Market Supervision Administration has instructed the market supervision and management department in the place of the producer to immediately organize the disposal work, check the product flow, and take measures such as removing the unqualified products from the shelves and recalling the unqualified products.
