The case of food additives used in the production and operation of Laogao pasta shop in Qixia City, Shandong Province

   On November 18, 2020, the Qixia City Market Supervision and Administration Bureau performed Qixia City Food Safety Sampling Inspection on the”Original Fire”,”Sweet Fire” and”Diagram Noodle Steamed Buns” produced and operated by the Laigao Noodle Shop in Qixia City. Tested by Shandong Tongji Testing Technology Co., Ltd., the test results of the”Original Fire” propionic acid and its sodium salt, calcium salt (calculated as propionic acid), the”Sweet Fire” cyclamate project, and the”Sweetness Fire” cyclamate project Unqualified. On December 14, 2020, the case was filed for investigation with the approval of the leaders of the newspaper.
   The party involved in the production and operation of food that used food additives beyond the scope of the Laogao pasta shop in Qixia City, which violated Article 34, Item 4 of the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China. On February 22, 2021, Qixia Market Supervision and Administration Bureau will comply with Article 124 Paragraph 1 Item 3 of the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China and Article 27 Article 1 of the Administrative Punishment Law of the People’s Republic of China. According to the fourth item of the paragraph, the following administrative penalties shall be imposed on the company:
  1. Confiscated RMB 210.00 of illegal income;
   2. A fine of RMB 1,0000.00 shall be handed over to the State Treasury.
   The above-mentioned fines and confiscated sum total RMB ten thousand and two hundred and one ten yuan (10210.00 yuan)
