4 batches of food detected pesticide and veterinary drug residues
Four batches of foods were found to have problems with pesticide and veterinary drug residues. They were duck eggs sold in Huifeng Haoyouduo Shopping Center, Lizhou District, Guangyuan City. Florfenicol and sulfonamides (total amount) were unqualified; Yuxiang Siji, Pidu District The mullet sold in hot pot restaurants, ofloxacin is unqualified; the mullet sold in Jiayushanzhen mullet house in Kangding City, enrofloxacin exceeds the standard; the large leek sold at Ruihang Market (Wen Shujun) in Wenjiang District, Chengdu, Procymidone exceeds the standard.
Florfenicol, also known as florfenicol, is an animal-specific antibacterial drug approved by the Ministry of Agriculture. It is mainly used for bacterial diseases of pigs, chickens, and fish caused by sensitive bacteria. The”National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limits of Veterinary Drugs in Foods” (GB31650-2019) stipulates that florfenicol is forbidden in egg-laying poultry (not detected in poultry eggs). Under normal circumstances, consumers do not have to worry too much about the detection of florfenicol in poultry eggs, but long-term consumption of food with excess florfenicol residues may have a certain impact on human health.
Sulfa drugs are the first class of artificial synthetic antibacterial drugs to be used. They have broad antibacterial properties, stable properties, and relatively safe characteristics. They have strong inhibitory effects on most gram-positive and negative bacteria. They are used in the aquaculture industry. Widely used in. The”National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limits of Veterinary Drugs in Food” (GB31650-2019) stipulates that the residual sulfonamides in foods of animal origin (total amount) ≤100μg/kg, and sulfonamides (total amount) are forbidden in egg-laying poultry (Not detectable in poultry eggs). Long-term intake of excessive sulfa foods can cause allergic reactions, urinary system damage, and blood system reactions.
Ofloxacin belongs to the class of quinolone drugs. Quinolones have broad-spectrum antibacterial effects and are widely used in the treatment and prevention of aquatic bacterial diseases. The Ministry of Agriculture Announcement No. 2292 issued in 2015 expressly prohibits the use of various salts, esters and various preparations of ofloxacin API in food animals. The reason why quinolone drugs exceed the standard may be caused by farmers’ irregular use of veterinary drugs and non-strict compliance with the provisions of the withdrawal period.
Enrofloxacin is a quinolone drug. Quinolones have broad-spectrum antibacterial effects and are widely used in the treatment and prevention of aquatic bacterial diseases. According to the National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limit of Veterinary Drugs in Food (GB31650-2019), the limit of enrofloxacin in fish is ≤100μg/kg.
Procymidone is a low-toxic systemic fungicide with dual functions of protection and treatment. It is mainly used to prevent gray mold in vegetables and fruit trees. According to the National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limit of Pesticides in Food (GB2763-2019), the maximum residue limit of procymidone in chives is 0.2mg/kg. Procymidone is irritating to eyes and skin, and has low oral toxicity. A small amount of pesticide residues will not cause acute human poisoning, but long-term consumption of foods with excessive pesticide residues will have a certain impact on human health.
5 batches of food detected food additives problem
Five batches of food were found to have problems with food additives. They were pure fragrant pressed rapeseed oil produced by Jiangxi Dabaisha Oil Industry Co., Ltd. sold at the Yebo Darunfa Supermarket in Pingchang County. The ethyl maltol was unqualified; Sichuan Mei White tofu, benzoic acid and its sodium salt (calculated as benzoic acid) sold by IKEA Youjia Supermarket Co., Ltd. are unqualified; jujube cake produced by Anhui Jufa Food Co., Ltd. sold by Ankego Supermarket in Yankou County, Wusheng County, antiseptic The sum of the proportions of the respective dosages to the maximum dosage when used in the high-tech zone exceeds the standard; the spicy beef slices produced by the Shangkou Fresh Food Factory in Santai County sold by the Mala Tang shop on the side of the road in the high-tech zone are unqualified; Dongpo, Meishan City The smoked dried tofu, benzoic acid and its sodium salt (calculated as benzoic acid) sold in Meishan Market (Luo Chunfeng) in the district were unqualified.
Ethyl maltol is a more commonly used high-efficiency synthetic flavoring agent. Adding a small amount can make the flavor of food stronger and maintain it for a long time. Because of its obvious effect on the improvement and increase of food flavor, it is widely used in the production of candies, biscuits, cakes, beverages and meat products. The”National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Use Standard” (GB2760-2014) stipulates that no flavors and spices can be added to vegetable oils.
”National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Use Standard” (GB2760-2014) stipulates that the total amount of food additives (preservatives) with the same function should not exceed 1. The total amount of preservatives used in pastry products (mainly potassium sorbate, sodium dehydroacetate, calcium propionate, etc.) in their maximum usage exceeds the standard. The reason may be that the company intends to extend the product shelf life or make up for the product. Insufficient hygienic conditions in the production process lead to excessive use of preservatives, or due to inaccurate measurement when adding preservatives, the total amount of the preservatives used in the mixed use of the preservatives exceeds the maximum use rate.
Carmine is one of the azo pigments in synthetic colorants. It has the characteristics of bright color, stable properties, strong coloring power, low cost and convenient use. The”National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Use Standard” (GB2760-2014) stipulates that carmine cannot be added to quick-frozen prepared meat products. In order to reduce costs, some unscrupulous manufacturers will add carmine to the meat for color mixing when using stale raw meat to make the appearance of the product more ruddy and fresher.
Benzoic acid and its sodium salt are a common preservative in the food industry, which has a good inhibitory effect on molds, yeasts and some bacteria. The”National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Use Standard” (GB2760-2014) stipulates that benzoic acid and its sodium salt must not be used in soy products. The reason for the unqualified benzoic acid and its sodium salt may be that the manufacturer or business operator has used it beyond the scope to extend the shelf life of the product or to make up for the poor sanitary conditions in the production of the product.
In addition to the above-mentioned substandard products, there is also a batch of food quality index problems detected. It is the melon seed slices (cakes) produced by Sichuan Chengdu Jinlifu Food Co., Ltd. sold by Nanchong Jiaxiu Trading Co., Ltd. The peroxide value ( In terms of fat) exceeding the standard.
Peroxidation value is an index reflecting the degree of oxidation of fats and oils. When the oil is oxidized to a high degree, it will produce a hala taste, which will affect the food sensory. In severe cases, it may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea and other symptoms.”National Food Safety Standard Cakes and Breads” (GB7099-2015) stipulates that the peroxide value of cakes (calculated as fat) should not exceed 0.25g/100g. The reason why the peroxide value of the pastry exceeds the standard may be that the oil and fat raw materials used in the production have deteriorated, or the storage conditions of the pastry are improper, such as storage under high temperature or sunlight, which causes the peroxide value to exceed the standard.
