The Press Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region of Russia stated that the export volume of agro-industrial products from Moscow Region to China in 2020 will triple compared to 2019.
The Press Service quoted Minister Sergey Voskresensky as saying:“Moscow Oblast is increasing the trade volume of agro-industrial products with China. In 2020, the export value of local agro-industrial complex to China is 128.2 million U.S. dollars. , An increase of 84.9 million U.S. dollars from 2019. That is to say, the export volume to China has doubled.”
The announcement pointed out that China is the key trading partner of Moscow Oblast, and the third largest export destination and the ninth largest import source of Moscow Oblast’s agricultural and industrial products.
Woskresensky added:“The most exported agricultural and industrial products of the Moscow region are meat products, with an export value of 105 million U.S. dollars. Then there are fats and oils, which exported 10.9 million U.S. dollars, and confectionery exports were 2.54 million U.S. dollars.”
According to the Press Service, the most imported products in Moscow Region are canned fruits and vegetables (US$14.8 million), fish and seafood (US$13.6 million), alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (US$11.6 million).
