   The outbreak occurred in the town of Pishpokrodani, Hajdú-Bihar, which was confirmed on April 13, 2021. The source of the epidemic is unknown or uncertain. Laboratory testing revealed that 11,769 poultry were suspected of being infected, of which 2,650 died, and 9,119 were killed and disposed of.
