  According to the”Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China” and its”Implementation Regulations” and other provisions, the relevant information of our bureau’s recent food safety supervision and random inspections of the city is now announced as follows:

   The food safety supervision and sampling information announced this time involves 10 categories of food, including quick-frozen food, aquatic products, alcohol, edible oil and fat and its products, processed food, condiments, edible agricultural products, catering food, beverages, A total of 92 batches of roasted seeds and nuts products were randomly inspected, of which 89 batches were qualified and 3 batches were unqualified. The disqualification rate was 3.26%. Please refer to the attachment for sample information.
   The Fuzhou Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has requested the local market supervision and management department to investigate and dispose of unqualified food producers and operators, investigate and deal with violations of laws and regulations in accordance with the law, and urge food producers and operators to perform legal obligations to prevent and control food safety risks.
  Non-qualified item knowledge
  一, carmine red
  Carmine is a water-soluble azo colorant, which is widely used in the food industry and can improve the appearance and color of food. Carmine is a synthetic pigment with high safety, but long-term excessive consumption of food that exceeds the standard of carmine may have a certain impact on human health. The”National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Use Standard” (GB2760-2014) stipulates that carmine cannot be detected in cooked meat products.
  二. Mold
   Mold is a common fungus that exists widely in nature. Mold contamination can make food spoilage, destroy the color, aroma, and taste of food, and reduce the edible value of food. Some molds can produce mycotoxins, which are harmful to human health. According to the”National Food Safety Standard Beverage” (GB 7101-2015), the mold in the beverage shall not exceed 50 CFU/g.
  Three, peroxide value
  Peroxide value mainly reflects whether the fat in food is oxidized and deteriorated. As the oil oxidizes, the peroxide value will gradually increase, which generally does not harm human health, but when it is too high, it may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea and other symptoms.”National Food Safety Standard Nuts and Seed Foods” (GB19300-2014) stipulates that the maximum limit value of peroxide value for cooked sunflower seed foods is 0.80g/100g.
