On April 7, 2021, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) released the 2019 EU Food Safety Report on Pesticide Residues.
In 2019, a total of 96,302 samples were analyzed, 96.1%of the samples tested below the maximum residue limit, 3.9%of the samples exceeded the standard, of which 2.3%of the samples did not meet the requirements, that is, after considering the measurement uncertainty , The test result of the sample exceeded the maximum residue limit. The results of the study indicate that the residue levels of the analyzed foods are unlikely to have any impact on the health of consumers.
