Canada intends to revise the maximum content of total arsenic in fruit juices and pulp beverages

  Food Partner Network News On April 9, 2021, Health Canada issued the NOP/ADP C-2021-2 document to revise the maximum total arsenic content in fruit juices and pulp beverages.

   It is understood that Health Canada revised the maximum total arsenic content in fruit juices (except grape juice) and pulp beverages (except grape nectar) to 0.01 ppm, and the revised maximum total arsenic content in grape juice and grape nectar was 0.03 ppm. The deadline for the solicitation of opinions is June 22, 2021.
