   In March 2021, the market supervision departments at all levels in Guangdong Province completed a total of 17,823 batches of food safety supervision and sampling, and 542 batches of unqualified batches. The overall unqualified detection rate was 3.04%, an increase of 1.41 percentage points over the same period in 2020. Among them, egg products are all qualified, and the unqualified rates of random inspection of dairy products, processed food products, meat products, edible agricultural products, and edible oil, fats and their products are 0.42%, 0.85%, 3.43%, 3.43%, and 2.52%respectively.    From the perspective of unqualified items, the main problems found are pesticide and veterinary drug residues, accounting for 49.57%of the total number of unqualified problems; microbial contamination problems accounted for 12.44%of the total number of unqualified problems, and quality indicators substandard problems accounted for unqualified problems The ratio of the total number is 11.05%. The ratio of food additives that exceed the scope and limit is 9.33%of the total number of unqualified. The pollution of heavy metals and other elements accounted for 6.91%of the total number of unqualified problems.
