  Food Partner Network News On March 4, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Market Supervision Administration announced that the bureau recently organized random inspections of condiments, beverages, catering food, edible agricultural products, and edible oils, fats and oils. There are 852 batches of samples of 5 types of food products, including 840 batches of qualified samples and 12 batches of unqualified samples for sampling inspection items.
  6 batches of samples detected pesticide and veterinary drug residues
   Among the unqualified samples, 6 batches of samples were found to have pesticide and veterinary drug residues. Among them, there are 3 batches of bean sprouts, namely:soybean sprouts sold at Huaihaifeng Vegetable Store in Bachu County, and soybean sprouts sold at Tanjia Xiaopu Fresh Vegetable Museum in Hotan City. Sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate (as 4-chlorophenoxyacetate) Chlorophenoxyacetic acid meter) does not meet the national food safety standards; the soybean sprouts sold at Wanglei Vegetable Wholesale Store in Wusu City detected 6-benzyl adenine (6-BA) that did not meet the national food safety standards.

   There are also 3 batches of black-bone chickens detected as unqualified, namely:black-bone chicken sold by Korla Jinqiao Yipin Supermarket Co., Ltd., and fresh black-bone chicken sold by Yining Meilianmei Trading Co., Ltd. detected non-conforming food with enrofloxacin National safety standards; black-bone chickens sold at the Jingshui Road store of Aksu Jinqiao Supermarket Co., Ltd. found that trimethoprim did not meet the requirements of the national food safety standards.
   Enrofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone drug, a class of synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial drugs, used to treat animal skin infections, respiratory tract infections, etc. It is an animal exclusive drug. The”National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limit of Veterinary Drugs in Food” (GB 31650-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of enrofloxacin in the muscle of poultry (prohibited during the laying period) is 100 μg/kg.
   Trimethoprim is a kind of diaminopyrimidine drugs, which is often used together with sulfa drugs to achieve antibacterial and synergistic effects, so it is also called a sulfonamide synergist. The”Maximum Residue Limits of Veterinary Drugs in Foods” (GB31650-2019) stipulates that the maximum limit of trimethoprim in the muscles of poultry (prohibited during the laying period) is 50μg/kg.
  1 batch of samples detected microbial contamination problems

The reasons for the unqualified Pseudomonas aeruginosa in purified drinking water may be:first, the raw water body is infected; second, the sanitary control in the production process is not strict, and the sterilization is not thorough; third, the cleaning and disinfection of packaging materials does not meet the standards.
  5 batches of samples detected quality index problems
   Among the unqualified samples, 5 batches of samples have quality index problems detected. Among them, two batches of samples were found to have total acid (calculated as acetic acid) that did not meet the national food safety standards.   Total acid is the quality index of vinegar, one of the important characteristic indexes reflecting its characteristics. For brewing vinegar, the higher the acidity, the higher the degree of fermentation, the stronger the sourness of the vinegar and the better the quality. According to”Brewed Vinegar” (GB/T 18187-2000), the minimum limit of total acid in solid-state fermented vinegar is 3.50g/100mL.
   There are also two batches of samples that have detected polar components that do not meet the national food safety standards.   Polar components are edible oils that undergo fission during the frying process and produce some components that are more polar than normal vegetable oil molecules (triglycerides). They are the thermal oxidation products, thermal polymerization products, and heat of triglycerides. The general term for oxidative polymerization products and hydrolysis products. According to the”National Food Safety Standard Vegetable Oil” (GB2716-2018), the polar component in the frying process of edible plants must not exceed 27%.
