“The Third Academic Committee of Fujian Provincial Marine Functional Food Engineering Technology Research Center Xiamen Key Laboratory of Marine Functional Food” and the”Marine Functional Food Seminar” were successfully held

   On January 17, 2021, the”Fujian Marine Functional Food Engineering Technology Research Center/Xiamen Marine Functional Food Key Laboratory Third Academic Committee” and the”Marine Functional Food Seminar” were held in Xiamen Shanshui Hotel. The conference was jointly organized by the School of Food and Bioengineering of Jimei University, Fujian Marine Functional Food Engineering Technology Research Center, and Xiamen Key Laboratory of Marine Functional Food. Academic committee members Professor Zhang Yuanxing, Professor Liu Zhiyu, Professor Xiao Meitian, Professor Hong Zhuan, Professor Liu Qin, Professor Cao Minjie, and Professor Liu Guangming attended the meeting. Professor Zheng Baodong and Professor Wang Shaoyun attended the meeting in video format.
   Professor Liu Guangming, director of the center, presided over the meeting, and Cao Minjie and Zhang Yucang delivered speeches on behalf of the school and the scientific research office respectively. Liu Guangming reported to the Academic Committee on the construction of engineering technology centers and key laboratories in the past two years. The committee members fully affirmed the construction work and results of the center and the laboratory in the past two years, and also put forward valuable suggestions on the planning and positioning of the center and the laboratory, which provided a good reference for the construction and development of the platform.
