Entrusted by the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Supervision Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, recently the Agricultural Product Quality Standards Research Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Monitoring) work. More than 200 experts from 51 ministerial-level quality inspection centers undertaking routine monitoring tasks from the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Supervision Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Agricultural Product Quality Standards Research Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs participated in the online + offline launch activities.
The meeting pointed out that routine monitoring plays an extremely important role in the quality and safety supervision of agricultural products, and plays an irreplaceable role in discovering hidden problems and preventing systemic risks. Level-level quality inspection centers must accurately grasp the important role of routine monitoring, continuously improve the scientificity and representativeness of the monitoring work, and make every effort to complete the routine monitoring work in 2021.
The meeting emphasized that the ministerial-level quality inspection center and related technical units must strengthen their organization and leadership during the monitoring work in 2021, and provide conditions for monitoring work; they must be strictly implemented Sampling procedures and standards should be used to improve the quality of monitoring work; coordination and cooperation must be strengthened to ensure the smooth progress of monitoring work; routine monitoring must be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements for epidemic prevention and control.
It is reported that in 2021, the Agricultural Product Quality Standards Research Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will assist the Department of Supervision and Administration to further adjust the routine monitoring program. The data has been scientifically allocated to the three categories of products and the number of monitoring samples in each region, which has improved the representativeness of monitoring samples; second, organized relevant industry experts to compile the”National Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Routine Monitoring (Risk Monitoring) Implementation Rules” for the first time. This is to carry out unified and standardized sampling, inspection, determination and other specific tasks; the third is to fully implement the use of routine monitoring and sampling APP, realize on-site upload operations, and achieve paperless and informatized monitoring and sampling. The above measures have effectively improved the scientificity and representativeness of routine monitoring, ensured that the monitoring data and results are more accurate and reliable, and provided strong technical support for the national agricultural product quality and safety supervision.
