From March 2nd to 5th, the Agricultural Reclamation Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, together with the China National Agricultural Reclamation Economic Development Center, invited relevant experts to organize two research and guidance groups to go to Henan, Hubei, Jiangsu, and Anhui four major summer grain production reclamation areas for spring Agricultural production and winter wheat field management guidance research work. The two research teams went deep into the field to check seedling conditions, moisture conditions, and pests and weeds, to understand the progress of field management in spring, and to provide guidance on problems in production. The survey found that the summer grain production in the Four Reclamation Area has a good start, a high starting point, a solid foundation, policy propaganda and technical services in place, and sufficient production material reserves to ensure the smooth progress of the spring field management work. The winter wheat planting area is the same as last year, and the overall growth is better. Last year, a solid foundation was laid for a bumper summer grain harvest. Overall, the summer grain production in the four reclamation areas presents three characteristics.
1. The sown area of summer grain is stable and the quality is high. The Four Reclamation Areas attach great importance to summer grain production, strengthen policy publicity, and resolutely prevent the”non-graining” of arable land, ensuring the implementation and basic stability of the planting area of autumn and winter crops with wheat as the mainstay. The summer grain planting area in the Four Reclamation Areas from 2020 to 2021 is 2.332 million mu, which is basically the same as last year. The summer grain planting area on some farms has increased significantly compared with last year. While ensuring the sown area, most summer crops in the reclamation area are basically sown in a suitable period with high sowing quality, which has laid a good foundation for seedling conditions. Among them, the sowing of small barley in Jiangsu reclamation area ended before November 10, and the sowing progress was the fastest in history; the sowing of wheat in Anhui reclamation area ended before November 17, basically achieving proper sowing and one seedling; winter wheat in Henan reclamation area Planting was completed in mid-to-late October, and it was also planted during the suitable planting period; the Hubei reclamation area was affected by the heavy rainfall during the autumn planting period last year, the harvest of the previous crop was delayed, and the wheat planting period was slightly extended.
2. The crops in the field have sufficient population and good seedlings. Affected by the rapid recovery of temperature in late January in Jiangsu, Hubei, Anhui and other places this year, the temperature was significantly higher than normal, and the greening period of wheat in various regions has been advanced, which is conducive to the formation of more grains per ear. Among them, the Huaibei wheat area in Jiangsu reclamation area entered the rising and jointing period; the Huaimai area in the Anhui reclamation area entered the rising period, and the wheat area along the river entered the jointing period; the wheat in the Henan reclamation area entered the green rising period; the wheat in the Hubei reclamation area entered the jointing and booting period. At the end of February, there were effective rainfall in the four reclamation areas, and the soil moisture in the fields was suitable. At present, the large areas of wheat in the reclamation areas are growing in balance, with sufficient populations and strong individuals. The proportion of first and second types of seedlings accounts for more than 80%, no major diseases and insect pests occur, and the overall growth is good Last year, the foundation for a large area to achieve a bumper harvest was established.
3. The spring field management measures are solid and strong. In order to ensure the production of summer grains, the Four Reclamation Areas seized the favorable opportunities in early spring and adopted measures such as early deployment of work, early implementation of plans, early supply of agricultural materials, and early technical training. Measures were taken in accordance with local conditions, strengthened classified management, and paid attention to the prevention and control of pests and weeds. , To promote the transformation and upgrading of Miao sentiment. Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation emphasizes standardized management, explores operating procedures that are suitable for high and stable yields of rice and wheat in reclamation areas, implements unified agronomic measures and operating standards, and uniformly provides agricultural production with agronomy, agricultural machinery technical consultation, training, guidance, extension, disease, insect, and weed pest forecasting and reporting. Service work such as prevention and control and weather forecasting. Farms in the Hubei Reclamation Area have set up technical guidance groups with agricultural offices and agricultural service centers as the main body, and promptly initiate technical guidance and training. Anhui Reclamation Area fully implements unified variety layout and supply of seeds, unified procurement and supply of production materials, unified agronomic measures, unified purchase and sale of raw grains, unified accounting of the”five unified” management, unified wheat varieties layout area reached 100%, unified agronomic measures area reached 90%Above, 37 tons of pesticides and 11,300 tons of fertilizers were purchased uniformly. The management of wheat production in farms in the Yellow River flood area of Henan vigorously promotes straw return to the field, formula fertilization, deep soil loosening, selection of improved seeds, precision sowing and even sowing, chemical weeding, water-saving irrigation, inter-tillage suppression, green prevention and control, and foliar fertilization.”Technical” measures. At present, the farms in the reclamation areas have sufficient fertilizer and pesticide reserves, the maintenance of agricultural machinery is in place, and the agricultural science and technology training is basically covered, ensuring that the later field management work can be carried out in a timely and effective manner.
