  Food Partner Network News On March 29, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announced the new phase of food inspection information. Recently, the bureau organized sampling inspections of 159 batches of samples of 4 types of food including convenience foods, processed grain products, meat products and edible agricultural products. Among them, there was 1 batch of unqualified samples, and the quality index was not up to standard.
  The unqualified samples are:”Yi Noodles” sold by Fangchenggang Fudelong Trading Co., Ltd. and produced by Guangxi Laijian Food Technology Co., Ltd. The acid value and peroxide value do not meet the national food safety standards. .
Acid value (calculated as fat) mainly reflects the rancidity of fats and oils in food. Long-term intake of the aldehydes and ketones produced by the rancidity of fats and oils will have a certain impact on health, but in general, consumers can clearly distinguish that they have peculiar smells such as hala during use, and should avoid eating them. The peroxide value (calculated as fat) mainly reflects whether the fat is oxidized and deteriorated. As the oil is oxidized, the peroxide value will gradually increase, which generally does not affect human health, but when it is too high, it may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea and other symptoms.”GB 17400-2015 National Food Safety Standard Instant Noodles” stipulates that the acid value (calculated as fat) (KOH) in the fried noodle cake is ≤1.8mg/g, and the peroxide value (calculated as fat) ≤0.25g/100g.
   In response to the problems found in random inspections, the Market Supervision Administration of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has requested the market supervision departments of Liuzhou, Fangchenggang and other places to deal with the units involved in the production and business units involved in the unqualified samples and order the inspection of the batches of unqualified products. Time, quantity, flow direction, recall of unqualified products, take measures such as removing the shelves to control risks, analyze the reasons for rectification, and investigate and deal with them in accordance with the law.
