Announcement of Tongling City Market Supervision Administration on the unqualified status of 5 batches of food (No. 8 of 2021)

   Recently, the Tongling Market Supervision Administration organized random inspections of 42 batches of samples of Category 1 food such as edible agricultural products. According to the national food safety standard inspection and judgment, there are 37 batches of qualified samples and 5 batches of unqualified samples for sampling inspection items (see appendix). The unqualified samples involve the problem of pesticide and veterinary drug residues. The details of the unqualified food are now notified as follows:

  Pesticide and veterinary drug residue problem

   (1) Chlorpyrifos does not meet the national food safety standards for celery sold at the Jianggenhua vegetable stall in Datong Town, Tongling City. The inspection agency is Anhui Zhongqing Inspection and Testing Co., Ltd.

   (2) The leeks sold at the Jianggenhua vegetable stall in Datong Town, the suburb of Tongling City, carbofuran does not meet the national food safety standards. The inspection agency is Anhui Zhongqing Inspection and Testing Co., Ltd.

   (3) Perch sold by Hu Aijin (individual industrial and commercial households), enrofloxacin (calculated as the sum of enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin) does not meet the food Safety national standards. The inspection agency is Anhui Guotai Zhongxin Testing Technology Co., Ltd.

   (4) Bullfrogs sold by Hu Aijin (individual industrial and commercial households), enrofloxacin (calculated as the sum of enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin) do not meet food Safety national standards. The inspection agency is Anhui Guotai Zhongxin Testing Technology Co., Ltd.

   (5) Enrofloxacin (calculated as the sum of enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin) sold by individual industrial and commercial households (Cheng Jinmei) does not meet National Food Safety Standard. The inspection agency is Anhui Guotai Zhongxin Testing Technology Co., Ltd.

   For substandard products found in random inspections, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau has instructed relevant county and district market supervision departments to investigate and deal with them in accordance with the law. The Municipal Food and Drug Inspection Detachment and the Zongyang County Market Supervision Administration have urged relevant units in the food business link to immediately take measures such as removing the shelves to control risks, and at the same time, complete the verification and disposal within 3 months from the date of the announcement and announce the disposal results to the public.
