In the food sampling inspection organized by the State Administration for Market Regulation, one batch of unqualified food has been verified and disposed of. The risk control and verification and disposal of unqualified food are now notified as follows:
1. Celery sold by Longxiang Vegetable Wholesaler, Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City
(1) Name of food:Celery; Date of production:2020-11-18; Unqualified item:Phorate.
(2) Nanchang City Market Supervision Administration shall deliver the inspection result notice within the specified time and order it to immediately stop selling and recall substandard batches of food. After verification, the Longxiang Vegetable Wholesaler in Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City purchased 57.5 kg of this batch of products, 57.5 kg have been sold, and the recall quantity is zero. After verification and analysis, the batch of unqualified food was caused by the planting process, and the Longxiang Vegetable Wholesaler in Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City did not implement the purchase inspection record system. In response to its own problems, the firm immediately took rectification measures to strengthen the control of the source of products and strictly implement the purchase inspection record system.
(3) The behavior of Longxiang Vegetable Wholesaler in Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City, which deals with celery with excessive pesticide limit, violates the provisions of Article 33, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the”Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China”. Pursuant to Article 50 of the”Administrative Punishment Law of the People’s Republic of China” and”Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China”, the parties were ordered to correct their illegal acts; the illegal income was confiscated 172.5 yuan and a fine of 9827.5 yuan (penalty decision number:Hongshi Jianshi Liupujuezi  No. 7). The Nanchang Municipal Market Supervision Administration has notified the relevant situation to the Nanchang Agriculture and Rural Bureau.
