  According to the joint monitoring of the Information Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Shandong Zhuochuang Information Co., Ltd., the sixth week of 2021 (ie February 8-10, 2021, hereinafter referred to as this week), 16 provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government) The weekly average of the total ex-factory price index of type white striped pork was 39.89 yuan per kilogram, down 1.3%month-on-month and 22.1%year-on-year, an increase of 1.7 percentage points from last week.
   This week, the domestic ex-factory price of lean white striped pork (hereinafter referred to as the”pork price”) fell month-on-month. As the Spring Festival approaches, large-scale breeding farms in some areas have successively closed, and the number of farmers has decreased, and the supply of live pigs has decreased significantly this week; most slaughter companies have suspended work for holidays from February 9-10, and the operating rate of the week has increased, supporting the prices of live pigs and pork Rebound, but due to limited demand growth, prices are at a low level this week.

  1. Pork prices in Northeast China fell month-on-month and the year-on-year decline expanded
   This week, the average weekly price of pork in Northeast China was 36.85 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 4.1%from the previous month and a year-on-year decrease of 22.3%, an increase of 6.4 percentage points from last week.
   The price of pork in the Northeast region fell this week. Large-scale breeding companies in Northeast China have no plans for slaughter this week, but the slaughter of farmers is concentrated and the supply of live pigs is relatively sufficient. On the 8th to 9th, the terminal demand increased compared with the previous period, but the range was limited. The high-priced white meat was not sold smoothly. This week, the prices of live pigs and pork remained low.

Ⅱ. Pork prices in North China fell month-on-month and the year-on-year decline expanded
   This week, the weekly average price of pork in North China was 37.99 yuan per kilogram, down 3.8%from the previous month and 23.4%year-on-year, an increase of 4.5 percentage points from last week.
   This week, pork prices in North China fell from a month-on-month period. As the Spring Festival approaches, there are no plans for large-scale breeding farms in this area, and some farmers are reluctant to sell in the slaughterhouses. In addition, the slaughter business has a high operating rate. The price of live pigs rose slightly in the early period of the week; the improvement in terminal demand is limited, and the high-priced white meat is not well sold. Some slaughter companies are selling at stable prices, and pork prices are running at a low level this week.

   This week, the weekly average price of pork in Central China was 41.86 yuan per kilogram, up 3.2%month-on-month and down 20.2%year-on-year, which was 3.1 percentage points lower than last week.
   This week, pork prices in Central China increased month-on-month. Live pigs from large-scale farms in this area are normally slaughtered. As the Spring Festival approaches, the demand for pork continues to improve. The slaughter companies concentrate on stocking, and the operating rate has increased significantly, driving up the price of live pigs and pork.

   This week, the average weekly price of pork in East China was 40.20 yuan per kilogram, down 0.9%month-on-month and 23.5%year-on-year, an increase of 4.1 percentage points from last week.
   The price of pork in East China dropped from a month earlier this week. Most of the large-scale farms in East China have no plans for slaughter. The operating rate of Shandong slaughter companies has increased, and the price of live pigs has risen at the beginning of the week, which supports the price of pork; the demand in other provinces has a small increase, the market supply and demand are both low, and the prices of live pigs and pork are mainly stable , The average price has a smaller gap with last week.

5. Sichuan pork prices fell month-on-month and the year-on-year decline expanded; Guangdong pork prices fell month-on-month and the year-on-year decline expanded
   This week, the weekly average price of Sichuan pork was 41.57 yuan per kilogram, down 6.3%month-on-month and 28.3%year-on-year, an increase of 6.3 percentage points from last week. As the Spring Festival approaches, some farmers and large-scale farms will be closed for holidays, making it more difficult for slaughter companies to purchase, and the prices of live pigs and pork rebounded slightly during the week. As pork prices were at a high level last week, the average price fell this week.
   This week, the average weekly price of pork in Guangdong was 44.67 yuan per kilogram, down 3.8%month-on-month and 20.3%year-on-year, an increase of 3.2 percentage points from last week. Due to the increase in the number of people returning home in the province, the demand in the region is relatively weak, the price of pork has stabilized at a low level, and the average price has fallen from the previous month.
