Vietnam strives to reach US$62 billion in exports of agricultural, forestry and fishery products by 2030

   (People’s Daily) The Prime Minister of Vietnam recently approved a proposal to promote the export of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products by 2030. The proposal puts forward the goal of exporting Vietnam’s agricultural, forestry and aquatic products to approximately US$60 to 62 billion by 2030.

  Among them, the export value of major agricultural products reached US$25 billion, the export value of forest products reached US$16-17 billion, the export value of aquatic products reached US$15 billion, the export value of livestock products reached US$3-4 billion, and the export of other agricultural products. The amount is approximately US$2 billion. The average annual growth rate of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products exports is about 6%to 8%. About 40%of Vietnam’s agricultural, forestry and aquatic products carry national trademarks, 70%of the products are traceable, and about 60%of the export value of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products are processed and deep-processed.
  Accordingly, the overall measure to accomplish the above goals is to verify, improve the export system and policies related to agricultural, forestry and aquatic products, continue to implement and improve the policy for promoting agricultural, forestry and aquatic products, and assist enterprises in various activities to develop product trademarks in the country and Promote product image in international media.
