Ukrainian agricultural exports decline in January 2021

   Ukraine’s latifundist website reported on January 3 that Ukranian Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Khaqika posted on Facebook that Ukrainian agricultural exports in January 2021 were 3.93 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of 270 million U.S. dollars or 5.6%year-on-year. The main reason is that the actual export volume of corn, wheat, soybean and meal has decreased. Among them, corn decreased by US$338.3 million or 45.61%, from US$741.8 million in January 2020 to US$403.5 million; wheat decreased by US$55.28 million or 30.9%, from US$178.8 million in the same period last year to 123.6 million US dollars; soybeans decreased by 61.31 million US dollars or 50.71%, from 112.02 million US dollars in the same period last year to 50.71 million US dollars; meal decreased by 60.86 million US dollars or 33.93%, from 17939 million US dollars to 11853 million US dollars.
