The first outbreak of Peste des petits ruminants in Thailand

  Food Partner Network News According to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), on February 8, 2021, the Animal Husbandry Development Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture Cooperation of Thailand reported to OIE that an outbreak of Peste des petits ruminants occurred in Thailand.

   The place of the outbreak was Prachantakham, Prachinburi, Thailand, and was confirmed on February 3, 2021. The source of the epidemic was the introduction of new live animals. According to laboratory tests, the specific incidence is as follows:
