On February 8, 2021, Taiwan, China notified the WTO of the draft directive (G/SPS/N/TPKM/561), proposing to adopt emergency phytosanitary measures for imported Solanum and Capsicum seeds to reduce 4 viruses and 6 types Virus biosecurity risks.

γ€€γ€€ The emergency management measures taken against the viruses and virus-like viruses carried by these seeds are as follows:Imported Solanum and Capsicum seeds should be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the plant quarantine department of the exporting country, proving that the seeds have been tested by the laboratory before export , Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), tomato brown fruit wrinkle virus (ToBRFV), tomato mottle mosaic virus (ToMMV), Pepino mosaic virus (PepMV), goldfish flower latent virus (CLVd), Potato spindle tuber-like virus (PSTVd), tomato bunchy top stunt virus (TASVd), tomato chlorotic dwarf virus (TCDVd), tomato male strain virus (TPMVd) and pepper small fruit virus (PCFVd); otherwise , The seeds will be destroyed or returned.
