Food Partner Network News The latest news from the Russian Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service:From February 5 to 16, 2021, the Orenburg Regional Bureau under the bureau seized and banned 4 Batches of unqualified products with high phytosanitary risk imported from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

It is reported that unqualified plant products and reasons include:
-Sesame, no phytosanitary certificate, importing country:Kyrgyzstan (0.75 tons);
-Dried fruits, nuts and rice, the phytosanitary certificate is invalid, import country:Kazakhstan, produced in Uzbekistan (17.58 tons);
-Walnut, phytosanitary certificate is invalid, importing country:Kyrgyzstan, produced in China (30 tons);
-Dried fruits and rice, invalid phytosanitary certificate and lack of product conformity declaration, importing country:Kyrgyzstan (21.7 tons).
According to the relevant requirements of the Russian Federation’s plant quarantine, the above-mentioned illegal products are prohibited from being imported into Russia, and the illegal enterprises and individuals will bear administrative responsibilities according to law.
