Russian agricultural exports increase by nearly 30%in January 2021

  Foreign media news on February 4:The Russian Agricultural Export Development Center stated that in January 2021, Russian agricultural exports reached 1.96 billion US dollars, an increase of 28%over the same period of the previous year. During the same period, grain exports were US$715 million, an increase of 40%year-on-year, of which wheat exports increased by 57%to US$636 million.

   The export of oilseed products in January was US$322 million, a year-on-year decrease of 1%. Among them, the export of sunflower oil reached US$148 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7.5%.
   In January, China was still the largest importer of Russian agricultural products, reaching 496 million US dollars, an increase of 62%year-on-year. Exports to Turkey reached US$288 million, an increase of 2%year-on-year, and exports to the EU reached US$203 million, an increase of 5%year-on-year.
