Guangdong branch, all customs directly under the jurisdiction:
Since 2020, mainland customs have repeatedly detected quarantine pests such as Planococcus minor, Dysmicoccus neobrevipes and Melanaspis smilacis from Taiwanese pineapples exported to mainland China. In order to prevent the risk of plant epidemics, in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and standards of the mainland, we have decided to suspend the import of pineapples from Taiwan to the mainland from March 1, 2021.
Since March 1, 2021, the customs will suspend the acceptance of pineapple declarations in Taiwan, and promptly notify relevant enterprises in the jurisdiction of the above situation.
