Recently, Abdullah, the second vice president of Zanzibar, and Olesanare, the Morogoro regional commissioner, held talks about the possibility of farmers in Morogoro supplying rice to the island. He said that Sang will stop importing rice from Asia, and importers of Sang rice will meet with rice processors in the Morogoro region to conclude a deal.
