The shop is called”Yuanxing Meat Company”, located on the ground floor and attic of No. 24, Main Street, Sai Ying Pun, from February 11 to February 17 Must be suspended.
A spokesperson for the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department said:“The shop operators concerned were convicted four times in the courts in November and December last year and fined a total of one. One thousand two hundred yuan and a laboratory test fee of six hundred and twenty-nine yuan. The department also recorded 30 points for the licensee based on the illegal points system. As a result, the shop must be suspended for seven days.”
The spokesperson for reminded licensees of food premises to abide by the Food Business Regulations and other relevant regulations, otherwise the license may be suspended or cancelled.
Licensed food premises must display a licensed notice in a prominent place near the entrance to the premises for identification. In addition, members of the public can also browse the FEHD website (www.fehd.gov.hk/en/licensing/index.html) to check the list of licensed food premises.
